Join us for an evening of modern outlaw country, heartfelt songwriting, and intimate storytelling with Elliot C. Way, who’s on tour from Canada’s West Coast to promote his two new singles: “Fool’s Gold” and “Margaret.” Margaret tells the touching love story of his grandparents, Margaret and Nelson Bettie, and their life in Uxbridge, ON where they called home. In honour of his grandparents, Elliot chose to bring the Fool’s Gold Tour to the small town of Uxbridge — between the Toronto and Montreal shows — as a tribute to them. Margaret, Elliot's grandmother, battled with MS, and the show will be donating a portion of its profits to MS CANADA as a heartfelt tribute to his roots and family.
Elliot is bringing along some amazing friends to share the stage, including Nicolet and The Nobodies and hometown favourite, Ian James Bain. Backing him is his Band of Beauties — an all-star group featuring members from some of Ontario’s biggest acts like City & Colour and Julianna Riolino.
This will be a truly special night, one that’s being filmed and recorded to capture the magic. With beautiful stage design and music that celebrates the golden era of storytelling and danceable country, this show promises to make you rejoice in the spirit of community, memory, and song.
A night not to miss — think “The Last Waltz” or Neil Young at Massey Hall… but right here in your small town.
